"Do It Again" is a popular and R&B song,[5] [14] [fifteen] which mixes genres of hip hop[16] [17] and electronic dance music.[15] [17] It samples J Boog'south 2011 song "Let's Do It Again",[18] and is considered to exist a "twist" on the track.[1] "Do It Again" opens with synthesizers that utilize a crescendo,[xix] every bit Tyga raps in the outset poetry before Mia appears to sing 30 seconds into the song.[15] Her phonation was consistently undulated to audio "sultry [and] controlled",[19] over a club-infused instrumental.[15] Brown additionally incorporates a rap verse.[2]

A lyric video for "Practise It Once again" was released with the song on May iv, 2015.[34] The video is blithe and inspired past the civilisation of Guam, with references to artwork and Mia's ancestry to the Chamorro people. Mia performed "Do Information technology Once more" at the American Express Unstaged: Artists in Residence summit on August 20, 2015, which also included Rae Sremmurd, Børns, and Gavin James.[46] [47] She performed "stripped-down" covers of Drake's 2013 song "Hold On, We're Going Home" and Fetty Wap'south 2014 vocal "Trap Queen", earlier concluding the set with "Dum Dada" and "Do It Again".[48] During her performance on 5 Towers at Universal CityWalk Hollywood on Baronial 22, 2015, Mia invited Kylie Jenner onto the stage to perform the song with Tyga.[49] Mia performed "Do It Again" on the Australian breakfast television show Sunrise while joining American singer Jason Derulo on the Australian leg of his 2015 tour as an opening act,[l] where she debuted the live operation of her 2015 song "Touch on" and performed "Exercise It Once again".
